Anyone can sign up for our programs, rent gear at the Adventure Center, or request a workshop with us. and current NIU students receive lower prices.

Trips and Events
Every semester we offer new opportunities. From hiking, camping, biking, paddling, rock climbing, and caving trips to "learn how" workshops and clinics, and even craft nights... we do it all.
No experience is necessary to participate, and we love teaching people new skills! You don't need any of your own gear either – we've got you covered. All you need is yourself, some comfy shoes, a bottle of water, and an adventurous spirit!

Rentals
Have a plan, but not the equipment? Have no fear, Outdoor Adventures is here! We rent biking equipment, camping gear, winter equipment, sports packages and items, and water gear.
We rent a variety of paddling, camping, winter, and sports equipment for great prices.

A team building workshop is perfect to gather your group for a meaningful experience. The opportunities are abundant with Outdoor Adventures!
We can host your workshop at one of NIU's many campus facilities either indoors or out for no additional cost. We could also travel to your preferred on-site location.
